Wendy Wagner is the Executive Chef of 1903 Events and MOTOR® Bar & restaurant, located on the campus of the Harley-Davidson Museum. Hailing from Detroit, Chef Wagner got her first taste of cooking while studying at Northern Michigan University where she worked for a small, local caterer while pursuing English and marketing degrees. After leaving NMU, Wagner attended culinary school at the esteemed Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh and worked at Soba, an Asian restaurant and lounge.
She went on to become the Executive Chef for The Inn at Bay Harbor, a Renaissance Resort Property in Bay Harbor Michigan, along with serving as the Executive Chef for several locations within the Boyne USA Resorts portfolio, including The Summit at Big Sky Resort, Boyne Mountain and Country Club of Boyne. While she held the title of Executive Chef at Stafford’s Perry Hotel, she specialized in destination weddings and local, Northern Michigan fare. In 2013, Wagner opened her own independent operations, Mustang Wendy’s, and operated as Chef Proprietor for five years.
Wagner was first introduced to Brew City as the opening Executive Sous Chef for Fiserv Forum in 2018. She became Executive Sous Chef of 1903 Events and MOTOR® Bar & Restaurant in May of 2019 and was promoted to Executive Chef in October of 2019.
Wagner utilizes her eclectic culinary background, boundless curiosity and passion for signature dishes to create memorable menus that will satisfy all who visit the crossroads of 6th & Canal.
Annie is currently the Director of Sales for 1903 Events in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Annie and the sales team are responsible for booking private events on the 20 acre Harley-Davidson Museum® campus to include the six event rooms and a park-like outdoor setting that is surrounded on three sides by the Menomonee River. In additional to her sales role, Annie is responsible for monthly sales forecasting, marketing activities, and accounts receivables for the department. Annie is our venue lead contact with Visit Milwaukee, our local convention and visitor’s bureau.
Annie started her career in the hospitality industry at the age of 15 washing dishes at a local restaurant. After many years on the service side, she transitioned into a planner for Arthur Andersen LLP. At Arthur Andersen, Annie was responsible for all internal meetings and events, to include alumni parties.
After leaving Arthur Andersen Annie transitioned into a sales role for the Wisconsin Center District, owners and operators of the US Cellular Arena, Milwaukee Theatre and Frontier Airlines Center. Annie was part of the opening team for the new convention center. After eight years with Levy at the Wisconsin Center District, Annie assumed the role of Director of Sales and was part of the opening team for the Harley-Davidson Museum.
Amanda Ridout currently serves as the Senior Sales Manager for 1903 Events. With a focus on creating exceptional corporate events, Amanda works with her clients to coordinate a day or night to remember – no matter the size, shape or scope. Whether it’s a tight-knit meeting of just a few or a team-building exercise for hundreds, Amanda works tirelessly to find accommodations that will ensure your event is the talk of the watercooler.
Amanda is a proud graduate of St. Cloud State University, where she earned a degree in applied psychology. Amanda’s hospitality career began shortly thereafter when she was the Reservations Manager TKTK at the Relais & Chateaux-affiliated Canoe Bay resort in Chetek, Wisconsin. She would go on to excel in various positions focusing on guest services, sales and management. Amanda is an active member of the Wisconsin chapter of Meeting Planners International, currently serving on its board of directors.
Amanda is proud to now call Milwaukee home. When she’s not hard at work creating an unforgettable event for you, Amanda can be found rooting on the Bucks and Brewers with her husband, Brad.
