With 30 years of experience working with clients and guests, Annie has become an industry leader in Milwaukee when it comes to special events. Currently servings as the Director of Sales for 1903 Events at the Harley-Davidson Museum, Annie and her team are responsible for booking private events on campus, which includes five indoor event spaces and a park-like outdoor setting that is surrounded on three sides by the Menomonee River. Since the H-D Museum opened in 2008, Annie has worked tirelessly to earn – and maintain – a world-class reputation for 1903 Events.
Annie’s career in hospitality began at the age of 15, where she could be found washing dishes at a classic American Steakhouse. After many years on the service side, she transitioned into a planner for Arthur Anderson LLP. There, Annie was responsible for all internal meetings and events, including large alumni parties.
Next, Annie transitioned into a sales role for the Wisconsin Center District, owners and operators of the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, Miller High Life Theatre and the Wisconsin Center District. After eight years at the Wisconsin Center District, Annie assumed the role of Director of Sales for the H-D Museum and was part of the opening team.
In her free time, Annie practices her shutterbug skills – especially when she travels to distant lands all over the globe. She comes from a large and close family, which might be why she loves to escape to explore the great outdoors by hike or by bike.
Kristen has over two decades of leadership in the hospitality/food and beverage industry. Her career has taken her through country clubs, restaurants, hotels, and casinos. She has worked for top organizations such as Walt Disney, The Capital Grille, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Hard Rock Hotel, and Caesars Entertainment. Her passion for the hospitality industry has only grown through the years.
Kristen started in front-of-the-house operations, serving and managing, and then moved into event sales and marketing. She has been serving both the corporate and social markets throughout the United States. Her experiences include roles such as Director of Marketing for Scott’s Restaurants, Director of Sales for a Chicago-based off-premise catering company and Director of Catering for – Hard Rock Hotel Chicago. She’s even served as an Adjunct Professor for Hospitality at Cuyahoga Community College’s Hospitality Management School in Cleveland for several years.
When not working or networking with her clients, Kristen can be found in museums sketching, attending theater productions (she loves Broadway and ballet), seeking out new restaurants and dining experiences, or traveling to visit family and friends.
Upon joining the 1903 Events team, Colin quickly became one of our most valued Banquet Captains delivering impeccable customer service at the Harley-Davidson Museum for nearly four years. Quick to share a warm smile, Colin is a team player with a positive, can-do attitude who always puts the guests’ satisfaction as job No. 1.
Colin is proud to call his native Pewaukee home to this day. Colin enjoys going for hikes and walks in parks all over the Badger State and finds something new among the versatile and beautiful landscapes found only in Wisconsin. His love for the outdoors makes working on the Harley-Davidson campus and ideal fit given the surrounding waterways and 20-acre park-like setting. The many guests that roll on to campus provide Colin a jolt as those riders seem to exude that fresh, outdoor air attitude.
Colin rocks our event scene with high energy (maybe it’s his love for electronic dance music that keeps his heart pumping), but when it’s time to unwind, he looks forward to pouring a spot of bourbon (neat, if you’re buying). After helping pull off the perfect wedding day for countless couples, Colin is looking forward to being the guest of honor this fall when he and his fiancée say, “I do.”
With literally a lifetime of experience in the hospitality industry, including spending the past 12 years coordinating and executing events on the H-D Museum campus, Jack is our most seasoned event professional. He is also responsible for managing internal event logistics as well as our event equipment and AV to ensure premium quality and functionality. Jack made his way to Wisconsin after growing up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where he logged many hours working at his family’s entertainment center. Once an adult, he ventured out to expand his event management experience in the arts and theater world as he pursued his undergraduate degree while eventually earning a master’s degree from UW-Madison.
Jack’s creativity and nimbleness also keep him busy at home. He and his wife are the proud parents of four children. When he can sneak in a little “me” time, he can be found writing and recording music in his man cave, jamming with friends in a local dad band or honing his new skill – lock picking. Did we mention Jack has four kids? Suffice to say, Jack is agile and solution oriented. From trade shows to fashion shows, marathons to corporate meetings, weddings to national rallies; Jack is always looking forward to the next adventure.
